Hi! My name is Rachel Goodwin Hawkins (she/her) and I am an Administrative Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky Human Development Institute. Previously, I served as a Disability Accommodations Consultant at the UK Disability Resource Center. I also serve as a part-time instructor in the School of Information Science. Before working in the disability field, I worked for academic libraries for 16 years, 8 of which at UK and the remaining 8 at Georgetown College.
I hold my MSLS from UK and my BA in Psychology from Georgetown College. Additionally, I completed a graduate certificate in Developmental Disabilities from the UK Human Development Institute.

Some hobbies I enjoy are: running, hiking, kayaking, traveling, reading, and playing card games with my family. I have a sweet tooth and I love all things chocolate. Some of my favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad, Queen of the South, Bridgerton, Schitt’s Creek, and GOT.
